Hello I’m Lara Mohr, The creative mind behind The Agassiz Corner Café
I am a passionate food enthusiast with love for coffee and creativity. My culinary journey began in the time town of Princeton ,BC!! Where I was mentored and served an apprenticeship as a chef, developing a deep appreciation for flavours, a keen eye for detail and a love of seeing people satisfied and enveloped in the taste of their food.

Driven by my passion, I bought The Agassiz Corner Café with a vison to provide a unique experience where you can forget your stress and the rest of the world when you walk through the door and relax into a delicious cup of coffee of flavourful bite of food. At our café, we believe in making food that can transport you back to gramma’s cooking or holiday favourites that spark good memories from special times in your life. Our products are as organic as we can make them, we support local business and we work hard at fostering our community.

We stumbled upon the corner café because other restaurants on town weren’t open, but we sure are glad we did! Best breakfast of our entire trip! The staff was very friendly, and it was so cozy inside.

We stopped by for breakfast. We had a sunny side up egg dish with potatoes & bacon and an avocado toast dish with poached eggs & bacon w/ potatoes (toast too). All items were cooked perfectly: the bacon & both egg styles. I highly recommend this lovely café!
